Normally, objects will be focused clearly on the back of your eye.
However, if the lens is the wrong shape ...
... or the eye too short ...
... the focal point is too long - 'Long Sighted'.
This often means that distance objects are not sharp ...
... and close up objects are even more out of focus.
When we are young, our lens can often correct this.
However as we get older, close objects may be beyond the ability of the lens to correct.
In this case, you may need glasses to help correct this.
