Blepharitis is an inflammatory condition of the eyelids.
Oils and other products normally secreted by the eye build up on the lid surface.
The mainstay of treatment for blepharitis is lid hygiene
Add baby shampoo (1 to 10) to hot water ...
... using clean hands, apply cotton wool pads dipped in solution over the eyes...
... leave several minutes to loosen the oil discharge.
Take a cotton bud and dip it into the solution.
Gently rub the cotton bud across the upper and lower eyelid margins removing the debris.
Do not dip used cotton bud back into the solution.
Repeat this process and the condition should improve.
