As we are independent optometrists we can choose any lens from any manufacturer, which means that we can provide a bespoke optical solution for your needs.

Lens designs are evolving all the time, and we try many new designs out ourselves before we recommend them to our patients.

Probably the biggest area of lens development is in personalised varifocals. These lenses are manufactured using new techniques. They are specifically designed to suit your individual prescription, as well as frame choice and fit. This results in a lens that has up to 30% wider field of view than a conventional varifocal lens, with a greater area of sharpness at near vision.
