After a degree in English Language and Literature from Merton College, Oxford, followed by a brief foray into Chartered Accountancy, I switched to the world of Optics in 1993; building up and running our successful family practice in the Midlands and graduating top of my year when I finally decided to do the dispensing optics qualification. Stepping away from my practice after over twenty years, I helped other Opticians improve their businesses, working with a team of Business and Marketing Coaches, before taking semi-retirement and moving back into practice with Croft and Graves. Having missed the day-to-day involvement with patients and the staff team it is great to be in the thick of things again, helping clients find the perfect fit of lenses and frames that allow them to live life the way they want to see and be seen.
